Young Poets & Storytellers Competition

Calling all young writers – the 2023 competition is here!
Following the great entries from young poets and storytellers in 2022, as part of the Mitcheldean Festival we would like to invite young people between the ages of 5 and 16 to send in new poems or stories on the theme of “Change”. The inspiration could come from changes in the natural world, changes we experience in life, or changes we make ourselves.
Entries can either be emailed to contact@poetryfod.org or delivered to Mitcheldean Community Library by Friday 26th May 2023. Presentations to the winners will be made on Saturday 15th July in Mitcheldean Parish Church, including awarding the John Livesey Cup to the best overall entry.
