The Forest of Dean Seed Swap & Shop brings the local gardening and growing community together to swap herb, flower and vegetable seeds, as well as useful tips, experiences, and more. Gardening professionals will be on hand to answer questions and there will be a tool-sharpening service to get your gardening tools ready for the new growing season. Other highlights include seasonal produce available to buy and a short presentation on the benefits of wildflowers in the garden by Dean Meadows group.
The event is open to the public and anyone with an interest in growing more of their own food is welcome! Free entrance and seeds available to swap or purchase for a suggested donation. There will also be a pop-up café serving tea, coffee and homemade cakes.
