An exciting opportunity to Play, Create and Learn
Wye Valley River Festival are delighted to offer a six-week exploration of photo image making for children and young people (8-13 years old).
Using ‘ancient’ analogue cameras, artist Esther May Campbell will lead young people into the woods and a world of possibility, where they will co-create magical images in black and white that explore wildness, ancestry, the land and the earth beneath our feet through talking, exploring playing, even dressing up!
The group will explore the woods, the land, nature, our connection with it and each other, fostering friendship, awareness and curiosity. They will learn about light, nature, old oral stories, with a lot of fooling about.
Dates and times: Sessions are on Saturday mornings weekly from 10am-1pm, starting on Saturday 23rd September.
Venue: The Old School Tidenham Chase, NP16 7LX
Cost: a one-off payment of £10 per child for the full six sessions – via paypal or cash on the day.
