Parent & Toddler Forest School for families with children aged 0-5years, runs just like a Forest School session for older children, but adapted for toddlers and parents. Our sessions are play-based with activities such as water play, mud kitchen, play dough, painting, natural crafts, songs, stories games and scavenger hunts. One of the children’s favourite activities is playing in the enormous puddle which has been on site most weeks during the Spring term.
Parents have been telling us how much their toddler loves forest school and is excited about going to our sessions. They have also seen leaps in their children’s physical, social and emotional development, and new speech. Forest school is not just for children, Forest school is beneficial for people of all ages. Parents are finding being outdoors and meeting other parents is really beneficial for their mental and emotional well-being.Our Parent & Toddler Forest School sessions run on Monday mornings during term time, 9:30am-11:30am at Beaver Lodge, Whitecroft road, Parkend, Gloucestershire, GL15 4HG. Booking is through our website in half term blocks. We also have one off trial sessions you can book. If you can’t see a trial session you can make, please get in touch and we will open one for you.
