This event has grown out of St. John’s After School Gardening Club. A group of parents and other volunteers have worked with the school over the last 18 months to get the garden back into production.
Based on “Mustard Tree” events that the church ran before Covid, we held shared meals last summer and at Christmas. This Spring celebration adds live music to the mix, together with craft, gardening and other activities. We are open to all and explicitly inclusive in our welcome.
Enjoy mindful craft and gardening activities, and the joy of singing, as we celebrate and eat together. Everyone is welcome to take part and to help out. Previous events have been attended by people aged from 0 to 80+!
We ask people to book so that we know numbers for food and can minimise any waste. There will be plenty of fresh salads, vegan and meat options available.
This event is free but does require pre-booking where possible. Please click the link below if you’d like to reserve your free space!
