Medicine Creek (live bluegrass band) @ Last Thursday Club

Coleford Festival of Words and Last Thursday Club invites you on another journey along the twisting frets of a bluegrass Americana combo ‘Medicine Creek.’
A foot stomping old time string band featuring Nuala Honan on guitar and vocals and members of Sheelanagig brandishing fiddle and double bass. They’ve been plying their style of rootsy blue grass and alt country sinc dark takese they got together in 2010 in Bristol. They re-invent dark tales of murder and mayhem from frontier times mixed with gospel flavoured harmonies and violin abuse. Audiences are advised to sing loud and drink heavily! They have gained a cult following and have been invited to several festivals including Glastonbury, Green Man and Shambala
Doors 7.30 Music starts 8pm
