Mesopotamia, the land “between two rivers” – present day Iraq, was home to the ancient Sumerians, Babylonians, and Assyrians. We are going to look at a few images of some relief works from that period, think about possible interpretations of their meaning, make copies or use the same style, but with content more relevant to the present day. We will sculpt it in clay, which will be fired once it’s dried out.
The workshop is intended for all levels of experience.
Free refreshments. Lunch not provided.
