Machine Embroidery Workshop
June 12, 2023 – June 13, 2023
If you love flowers, leaves and machine embroidery, then this is the workshop for you! During the 2 day workshop we will cover a huge range of techniques to design, stitch and complete your own A4 sized project. Starting with a fat quarter of neutral fabric, we’ll embroidery and embellish the fabric to create wonderful, textural layers and colours.
Day 1: Creating your background, stitching your background, bobbin work, working from the reverse, machine couching and colouring your fabric
Day 2: Adding machine embroidery stitches, creating 3D leaves and flowers, using water soluble fabrics, stitching onto organza, completing your project
