Love Letter to The Wye
Join composer and performer Fiona Taylor and friends for an evening of music and song in celebration of the Wye and in protest at the polluted state of this beautiful river, and as part of the Ebb and Flow Exhibition (6th – 21st September), Newnham.
The Wye has inspired artists and writers through the ages. Drawing on sources from Wordsworth to contemporary local poet Jane Spray, Fiona Taylor has created a sequence of vocal and instrumental music that reflects the many faces of the Wye past and present.
Fiona is joined by singer and musician friends including Tracey Dixon, Nataley Freeman, Jules De Bharra, Mike Taylor and members of the group Minstrels of the Forest playing medieval instruments.
Bar, soft drinks and snacks available in the interval. (Doors open at 7pm)
