Forest of Dean Heritage Open Days

Our local programme is part on the English national event. Heritage Open Days first began in 1993 and has happened every year since, even in 2020 when the go-ahead was not announced until 1st August.  The Forest of Dean events are organised through the Coleford Area Partnership who work with other organisations and venues to bring a programme of events which are run in September. The theme for 2023 is “Creativity Unwrapped” and we look forward to presenting an excellent programme as we have done since 2009 in the local area. The Forest has much to display in the way of creativity over the ten days of events which reflect past achievements of  people here.
