Creative Walk in Nature – Linear Park, Cinderford

January 7 @ 10:45 am – 1:00 pm

Join us for an inspiring creative walk in nature, exploring the ancient woodland around Linear Park. When: Tuesday 7th January, 10:45am – 1pm Where: Linear Park/Ruspidge Halt, near Valley Road (Linear Park, Saint White’s Road, Ruspidge, GL14 3ER) Level of fitness: Easy flat route, wear walking boots/wellies. Cost: Free/Donation Timings to fully enjoy the experience: Arrive 10.45am for 11.00am start with a 2 hour walk with lots of stops to respond to nature. Need to know: Please wear suitable walking boot/shoes, waterproof/warm jacket, weather appropriate. Try to be as ‘hands free’ as possible. Notebooks will be provided and art materials but if participants wish to bring any of their own that’s fine. Cost – suggested donation of £5 will help towards the materials Tickets are by donation. We are a not-for-profit organisation. All proceeds go towards funding for our activities and events, cultivating creative communities throughout the Forest of Dean. Your Canopy Leader A walk designed and guided by Sara Rickard. Sara has lived in the FoD for over 20 years, is a textile artist and educator and a member of the Canopy steering committee.
