Need to know
This walk will begin beside the damaged 300 year old Coalway Oak opposite the Crown Inn. Roger will unwrap your memories passing along the breath of a forgotten railway journey, plunging into the Forest to find the ‘swing’ where a Local Wurzel is remembered, criss crossing among paths toward the glade – rich and soft, bedded with stories. There will be some drawing/ footprints /sound listings /echoes before making our way back for a cuppa and a chat… bring cake or biscuits to share.
Spaces limited, book today.
Please wear suitable walking boot/shoes, waterproof/warm jacket, weather appropriate.
Try to be as ‘hands free’ as possible.
Notebooks will be provided and art materials but if participants wish to bring any of their own thats fine.
Cost – suggested donation of £5 will help towards the materials. Tickets are by donation. We are a not-for-profit organisation. All proceeds go towards funding for our activities and events, cultivating creative communities throughout the Forest of Dean.
