Creative Walk & Coffee Meet Up at Mallards Pike
Join a quartet of creatives Jane Rothery, Diana Gash, Penny Hulbert & Roger Drury for a walk around Mallards Pike visiting the 13 benches, a Frog Prince and enjoy some drawing, music, stories and a memory dance . Meet at the café where we can also adjourn after our walk.
Pens, pencils, sketch pads would be useful to bring
Only 12 spaces available so booking advised, £5 suggested donation.
An experience for creatives and the general public. The routes are relatively short, the emphasis being on the journey taken rather than the destination. A process of looking, listening, responding individually and collectively and sharing time together, uniquely designed and guided by a local creative.
Please wear boots/strong shoes and waterproof/suitable clothing. The walk itself is not long because we regularly stop along the way to engage with nature and explore our responses. There will be numerous opportunities to creatively make marks, take photos, collect found objects, write notes and enjoy the company of likeminded supportive others.
Numbers are limited so please book as soon as possible
Tickets are by donation. We are a not-for-profit organisation. All proceeds go towards funding for our activities and events, cultivating creative communities throughout the Forest of Dean.
