Artist Talk

Head over to The Secret Gallery in Newent for the opening event of Ru Goodchild’s stunning exhibition, ‘Wild Spaces’, and enjoy a short talk about her work (Talk at 7.15pm approx.) Friday 1st November, 7-9pm. Sponsored by Canopy.
Ru uses either vibrant colour or a moody palette to capture the extreme moods of wild places. Trips to the Highlands, Gloucestershire and Cornwall feed her work.
Ru experiments with materials like acrylic, acrylic ink, layering colours and textures to see how far she can push each medium. Through her work, Ru communicates the emotion, the sense of light and energy, the wildness and dynamism of these beautiful landscapes that she finds so captivating.
‘Wild Spaces’ Exhibition by Ru Goodchild runs 30th October – 23rd November, The Secret Gallery, Newent.
